Time to pen down memories E-5.0

This was an opportunity which I could not refuse – new place, new organisation, very different culture and thought process – to build from scratch! Moved from Ahmedabad to Karnataka – Bengaluru ☺ Except for traffic (which is frustrating) Bengaluru is a beautiful and most happenning place by all standards. The initial 6 months were learning of a different kind - I had to start from literally nothing – locate real estate agent to hire office space on lease – get it renovated and equipped to our requirements – recruit team – marketing, designing, branding, admin, accounts…. And then it was market research for premium luxury products and buiding of customer base – and then it was all the way performance & results beyond expectations! Fantastic team, fabulous product range – the growth was phenominal in just 2-3 years and it continued…   System based reporting – every important reports were sent out to stakeholders at a fixed time every day by way of auto mail system. Hands on management – very practical & risk taking – and fast decision making was encouraged. Fantastic exposure to global fashion trends, well known designers & professionals world over. It was a culture of “work hard & party harder”, in a very postive sense.
