A friend in need is a friend indeed ! and because of a friend moved to a happening and fast developing place in Gujarat – Ahmedabad ! Fantastic company to work with and if willing one can learn on fast track. My initial 1-2 years were slogging but then there were youngsters who really worked hard with me and hence there was no looking back. Got additional responsibilities and recognition too - time to time, and it was fun combined with real hard work. The work environment – no nonsense - totally focussed on efforts, performance and results.

Time to pen down memories E-3.0

Took a decision to take a step forward in the product integration and moved to a smaller city in Madhya Pradesh - Gwalior. Back to company provided campus accommodation- ofcourse very spacious & nice. It was quite a change from a very systematic company to an almost 50 year old company with obviously lesser systems and most of the work was done on personal rapport with colleagues! It was like been thrown in the pool to swim or drown – and a lesson to work under pressure always. My stay here was short but memorable.

Got married and moved from West Bengal to Andhra Pradesh (not Telangana at that time!) - very happening place - Hyderabad - to join another organisation. Total change - bachelor to married, company campus in a small town to multi-storey apartment in a fast developing city. Ample opportunities to develop & grow the business and take decisions independently. This was a great learning to take decisions independently. Also good exposure to systematic and professional working. Though I was the only North Indian person in the whole organisation which had multi linguistic people from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Kerala, but was never given that feeling. This was the time when I fell in love with South India and the culture there !

Started my career by moving from Rajasthan to West Bengal. A small town in West Bengal about 30 mins by local train from Howrah. Bachelor’s life - company provided one room (quite decent) accommodation within the company campus so bosses could keep an eye on all activities! Great learning and exposure. Seniors were like guardians and took interest in all round development of  employees. Opportunity to meet senior most persons of the industry at a very young age. Besides enjoying the work had a fabulous time visiting Calcutta (not Kolkata, at that time!) almost every Sunday.

            Good old days .... exactly 4 weeks before the national lock down !

  

Positivity

It is my first post on the blog and it also happens on a day when lockdown has been relaxed and we could resume office as per earlier routine ofcourse with mask, sanitizer, social distancing etc.,

There is lot of positivity and I feel that things will start turning to normal or better in next 2-3 months.
